Current limitations

Features outside the current zudo-circuit-doc release and package licensing.

The current release focuses on circuit documentation, component evidence, and CAD previews. These limits matter when planning a project:

• No update or migrate command. The initializer creates a project once; you own its authored files afterward. See Ownership and upgrades.

• No manufacturing export profile. It does not produce Gerbers, pick-and-place files, or a fabrication order package.

• Limited supplier acquisition helpers. The optional easyeda2kicad tool can help import EasyEDA/LCSC CAD assets. There is no built-in integration for other distributor APIs.

• No STEP viewer or general CAD converter. The site previews WRL models. A matching STEP and WRL pair from one tagged KiCad library release is the supported path for CAD evidence; see CAD fidelity.

• No cross-vendor alias routing. A same-named part from another manufacturer needs its exact manufacturer-qualified identity; a shared-name shortcut cannot choose between them.

• No .agents/skills mirror for Codex. Agent resources remain under .claude/skills/. Codex uses AGENTS.md to reach the shared circuit/WORKFLOW.md instructions.
